Shri Charup Jain Mandir : Charup, Gujarat

Mulnayak nearly 120 cms. high, black – coloured idol of Shri Shyamala Parshwanath Bhagwan in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 7 hoods over the head of the idol. On the left side of mulnayak the white coloured idol of Shri Adeshwar Bhagwan and on the right side the white coloured idol of Shri Shitalnath Bhagwan.

Idol of mulnayak Bhagwan is ancient, the parikar (boundary) of Shri Parshwanath Prabhu said to be established by Shri Devchandrasuriji of Nagendra Gatch

Temple is in the center of Charup village. The idol is said to be made by Shri Ashadhi Shravak in the ancient period. It is a beautiful evidence of old arts and technique.

The temple is also ancient was renovated and again pratistha took place in VS 1984 by the shravaks of Patan.

Works of art and Sculpture :
This temple is beautified with huge elephants adorning the entrance of the temple. The idol in it is a matchless model of ancient art. The idols are a specimen of unequalled and unsurpassable ancient sculptural art. Such an idol can rarely be sighted anywhere else.

श्री चारूप तीर्थ, चारूप, गुजरात

मुलनायक लगभग 120 सेमी. ऊँची, पद्मासन मुद्रा में श्री श्री श्यामला पार्श्वनाथ भगवान की , काले रंग की मूर्ति। मूर्ति के सिर के ऊपर 7 फनों की छतरी है। मूलनायक के बाईं ओर श्री आदेश्वर भगवान की सफेद रंग की मूर्ति और दाहिनी ओर श्री शीतलनाथ भगवान की सफेद रंग की मूर्ति है।

मूलनायक भगवान की मूर्ति प्राचीन है, श्री पार्श्वनाथ प्रभु की परिकर (सीमा) नागेंद्र गच्छ के श्री देवचंद्रसूरिजी द्वारा स्थापित की गई बताई जाती है |

मंदिर चरूप गांव के मध्य में है। कहा जाता है कि यह मूर्ति प्राचीन काल में श्री आषाढ़ी श्रावक द्वारा बनाई गई थी। यह पुरानी कलाओं और तकनीक का एक सुंदर निदर्शन है।

यह मंदिर भी प्राचीन है, इसका जीर्णोद्धार किया गया था और पाटन के श्रावकों द्वारा वि.स. 1984 में फिर से प्रतिष्ठा की गई थी।

कला और मूर्तिकला के कार्य :
यह मंदिर विशाल हाथियों से सुशोभित है जो मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार को सुशोभित करते हैं। इसमें स्थित मूर्ति प्राचीन कला का बेजोड़ नमूना है। यह मूर्ति अप्रतिम एवं प्राचीन मूर्तिकला कला का नमूना है। ऐसी मूर्ति शायद ही कहीं और देखने को मिले |

यहां धर्मशाला एवं भोजनशाला की सुव्यवस्था उपलब्ध है।

चारूप रेलवे स्टेशन 1 किमी की दूरी पर है। यहाँ से पाटन रेलवे स्टेशन 10 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है। बस सेवा और निजी वाहन उपलब्ध हैं।
