The temple is on a hillock in a small village called Lotana, about 6 ½ Kms away from Nandiya Tirth. From stone inscriptions it is found that the ancient names of this place were Lotipur pattam, Lotanak etc., In the temple, on one idol in a standing posture there is an inscription dated Vikram year 1144. Similarly, on two other idols also in a standing posture, there are inscription dated Jyest Sukla 5 in Vikram year 1130. It appears that at that time, renovations may have been carried out here.
The idol of this Sri Adinath Bhagwan is from Shatrunjay shrines, brought here, during the latter’s 13th renovation. The last two renovations carried out here were in Vikram year 2016. The importance of this shrine is because of its antiquity distinguishing idol brought from eternal Shatrunjay shrines. Such an idol with its “Parikar” is no where to be seen. The exquisiteness of the delicate and dexterous art involved is striking. The scene of the temple on the hill in a village is also an attractive one.
All facilities available here for Seva-Puja.
For lodging there are some rooms available in the courtyard of the temple with all facilities, but no Bhojanshala facility.

How to reach :
Lotana village is located in Pindwara Tehsil of Sirohi district in Rajasthan. It is 21km from Pindwara and 35km from Sirohi.
Train: Pindwara Railway Station
Air: Udaipur Airport.

The railway station of SIrohi road is 20 Kms away from where the access here is by bus upto Nandia and from Nandia by jeep. From Nandia, this place is 7 Kms away. There is a tar road, buses and cars can go right upto the temple. From this shrine, Bamanwadji is 16 Kms away and one can go there via Nandhiya.

सफेद रंग के मूलनायक श्री आदिश्वर भगवान, परिकर के साथ पद्मासन मुद्रा में बैठे हैं।

यह मंदिर लोटाना नाम के एक छोटे से गाँव में एक पहाड़ी पर है, जो नांदिया तीर्थ से लगभग 6 ½ Km दूर है। पत्थर पर लिखे लेखों से पता चलता है कि इस जगह के पुराने नाम लोटीपुर पट्टम, लोटानक वगैरह थे। मंदिर में, खड़ी मुद्रा में एक मूर्ति पर विक्रम साल 1144 की तारीख का एक लेख है। इसी तरह, खड़ी मुद्रा में दो और मूर्तियों पर भी ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल 5, विक्रम साल 1130 की तारीख का एक लेख है। ऐसा लगता है कि उस समय यहां रेनोवेशन किया गया होगा।

यह श्री आदिनाथ भगवान की मूर्ति शत्रुंजय मंदिरों से है, जिसे शत्रुंजय मंदिरों के 13वें रेनोवेशन के दौरान यहां लाया गया था। यहां पिछले दो रेनोवेशन विक्रम साल 2016 में हुए थे। इस मंदिर का महत्व इसकी पुरानी मूर्ति की वजह से है, जो शाश्वत शत्रुंजय मंदिरों से लाई गई है। ऐसी मूर्ति अपने “परिकर” के साथ कहीं और देखने को नहीं मिलती। इसमें शामिल बारीक और कुशल कला की खूबसूरती अद्भुत है। एक गांव में पहाड़ी पर मंदिर का दृश्य भी आकर्षक है।

यहां सेवा-पूजा के लिए सभी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं। रहने के लिए मंदिर के आंगन में सभी सुविधाओं वाले कुछ कमरे उपलब्ध हैं, लेकिन भोजनशाला की सुविधा नहीं है।

कैसे पहुँचें:
लोटाना गाँव राजस्थान के सिरोही जिले की पिंडवाड़ा तहसील में है। यह पिंडवाड़ा से 21km और सिरोही से 35km दूर है।
ट्रेन: पिंडवाड़ा रेलवे स्टेशन
हवाई: उदयपुर एयरपोर्ट।

सिरोही रोड का रेलवे स्टेशन 20 km दूर है, जहाँ से यहाँ नांदिया तक बस से और नांदिया से जीप से पहुँचा जा सकता है। नांदिया से यह जगह 7 km दूर है। यहाँ तारकोल की सड़क है, बसें और कारें सीधे मंदिर तक जा सकती हैं। इस मंदिर से, बामनवाड़जी 16 km दूर है और वहाँ नांदिया होते हुए जाया जा सकता है।
